Counseling
Therapy is a place to learn more about ourselves, restore balance, and improve the quality of our lives. I provide a confidential and warm space where you can freely explore your emotions, experiences, relationships, and dreams. You can expect me to use a mix of ACT, CBT, mindfulness, with person-centered and psychodynamic strategies. However, I vary my approach based on the needs of the individual client and you are the expert on you and the life you want to live. I will guide you through self reflection, identifying strengths and boundaries, processing challenges, wounds, and successes while working on strategies to enhance overall growth and wellbeing.
My clients are coping with stress, anxiety, mood challenges, and/or life transitions. They commonly battle perfectionism, high-standards, and not wanting to “let others down”. They may be wrestling with a big decision or wanting to make an important change. They are often striving to strike a balance between achievement and personal fulfillment. I have extensive experience working with teens, young adults, and adults particularly as they navigate major decisions, personal and academic transitions, parenthood, and relationships.
I work with clients to enhance coping skills, self-care, communication, problem solving and executive functioning skills, stress management, and confidence. These skills support healing and create a more positive lived experience.
If you are looking to improve your relationship with yourself, make a meaningful change, and thrive in the areas that matter most to you, please reach out. I look forward to working with you and hearing your story.
